gantt_2_relationsWe have it! - Manage your tasks on an advanced time-line and get a higher prespective on your project's milestones and use of resources. The chart can be printed as well.

InTask has an interactive Gantt chart letting you easily position your tasks on the timeline. Simply drag the task on the timeline using the mouse until it is placed in the correct starting date. You can then, stretch the task across several days by dragging the task's resize handle.

Set relations between tasks

To rely a task's starting date on other task's ending date you need to connect a link from the first task's end date to the second task's start date. Simply drag a link from the end of task1 to the start point of task2. The connection is saved in the InTask database and from now on whenever you drag the first task on the timeline the second task will move as well. You can connect as many tasks as you like on a one to many basis.

Changing the Gantt basic time unit

By default, the basic time unit in the Gantt's timeline is 1 day. We can see the months divided to single days. You can change that so a different time units will be rendered. To change it put the mouse cursor somewhere on the timeline and drag it to the left to make bigger time units (weeks, quarters) or smaller time units (bigger days display).
